On May 28, 2002, after living at least 15 years, Dad succumbed to old age and bowel disease.  He now lies in his favorite spot under the bushes in his back yard.  Dad brightened our lives for 12 years.  We loved him very, very much.  We will miss him immensely.  He will hold a big spot in our hearts forever.  When you read this please give your cat a special treat from Dad and a good scratch behind the ears from Larry and Jan.
We will leave up the cat pages that Dad had us make for him and have added a new page of pics to celebrate his life.
Please go look at all of them and help us remember a wonderful friend.

You will find some beautiful a cats and lots of information about cats, F.I.V., and what to do for the cat in your house at the end of its life.

When we first met Dad, he lived in a ditch behind where Larry worked.
We decided to take him home and have never regretted it since.
He became a lap cat and loved to be brushed!
Here he is in his favorite position!
Just for reference, he is sleeping on an 18" square pad.
He weighed 22 lbs!

On Dec. 9, 2000 my Humans took me to the Doctor to get me my annual shots. After a routine blood test it was discovered that I have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. This is known as being FIV+. It is very similar to HIV that humans get. My paw below will take you to a page to learn out more about this disease and see some cats who have lived a long life in spite of it.
