Bobby Labonte won four races in 2000. His team brought him in with 24 top ten finishes with 19 of those being top fives. This Joe Gibbs team amazingly  finished all but nine laps in all 34 races! By winning the Winston Cup Bobby and his brother Terry Labonte ( Winston Cup Champion in 1986 and 1994) become the first brothers to win an American National Championship in any major US sport. This also brought Joe Gibbs, the Race Team owner a Winston Cup Championship to go with his three NFL Super Bowl Championships. This is also an unprecedented event in US sports history.
